Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant ! We were stopping in Eureka for the night and needed somewhere to eat that was dog-friendly. Options are limited in this small town, but I am very glad we found Bayfront Restaurant. The sushi was very good and my sashimi bento box was a great value ! There was a big portion of tempura and it was cooked perfectly. We also had their hamachi kama. It was fried and crispy on the outside, which I had never tried before, but it was tasty. Alexander was a perfect waiter. Very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The location is also nice (Bayfront as you'd expect) and they have a nice patio.

Tasteful jazz, pretty decor in windows, bay view, sweet servers, and my favorite dessert- the deep fried cake with ice cream! I like the green tea on top when they have it. Also the panna cotta is amazing. The lunch portions are the same as dinner- super generous! and tuesdays kids eat free right now. Lunch served all weekend. My favorite place to unwind and play Pokémon with friends. Crystal was super sweet and helped me out today.

We stopped into the Bayfront for a late lunch after being on the road. Super nice people and great food. I had spicy tuna sushi and a huge spinach salad, complete with bacon, egg, and mushrooms. Husband had Italian food that he devoured. We liked this place so much that we came back for dinner when the family came to town. Five us us enjoyed our meal! Very good wine list.

We had the lobster roll for an appetizer (we grabbed a bit before I thought to take a photo). It was delicious and larger than expected. The hot sake/plum wine mix was nice - not too sweet and good for a chilly day. For late lunch I had the chicken katsu. It was tender and juicy with just the right amount of crunch. Hubby had the mixed tempura lunch. The batter is light and not overly greasy.

Lovely spot for a special dinner by the harbor! The Humboldt combo (sushi) was phenomenal #shrimpboat Fu. To watch the hibachi show and a good wine list with Italian food options as well.

We entered to find a very quiet (only a few tables occupied) dining room. Alex (who became our waiter) greeted us with a smile and sat us at a window overlooking the boardwalk / harbor area (very nice)... We were looking for fresh fish. However, Alex turned us on to some house favorites: We shared clam chowder - vegan spring rolls - spinach salad - tri tip teriyaki w / tempura fried veggies All were very fresh and delicious! Alex was entertaining, knowledgeable & kept the dining experience light and very enjoyable... Note: The restaurant has at least 4 entrances. However, only one of them was open. We had to check 3 locked doors before finding the right one (the signage was confusing). It was very irritating, and we observed at least 2 groups who walked away. ** to the owners / operators of Bayfront You have a very nice place but please fix the door entrance debacle.
